Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LeadM8, operated by Ninth Gate (ABN 41 693 266 465)("we", "us", "our"), handles personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. The Lead Data — Public Business Information

The leads available through LeadM8 are compiled from publicly available business information, not private consumer data. Our sources include:

  • the Australian Business Register (ABR) / ABN data;
  • public planning and development-application (DA) records published by government portals;
  • Google Places business listings and similar public business directories.

This data consists of business contact information — business names, ABNs, business addresses, and publicly listed business phone numbers and email addresses. It is not private consumer personal data. Where any of this information relates to an identifiable individual (for example, a sole trader), we handle it in accordance with the Privacy Act and the APPs.

2. Information We Collect About You (the Customer)

When you create an account and use the Service, we collect:

  • Account details — your name and email address.
  • Billing details — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card numbers; Stripe processes and stores payment data under its own security standards.
  • Usage data — your searches, filters, exports, and basic activity, so we can operate and improve the Service.

3. Cookies & Authentication

We use cookies and similar technologies that are essential to operate the Service — primarily to keep you securely signed in (authentication) and to remember your session. We do not use these for invasive advertising tracking. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in.

4. How We Store & Protect Your Data

Your account data is stored using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. We apply access controls and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, in line with APP 11.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service, process your subscription, respond to your enquiries, send service-related communications, and improve and secure the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We share your information only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as Stripe for payments and Supabase for data storage and authentication), and only as needed for them to perform those functions. We may also disclose information where required by law.

7. Accessing, Correcting & Deleting Your Data

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to request that we delete your account data. To make a request, email us at leadm8.au@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by the Privacy Act.

8. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact us first at leadm8.au@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.

10. Contact

For any privacy matter, email us at leadm8.au@gmail.com.
